Every year many American Citizens choose Costa Rica as their new home, and even though the country is known for being very welcoming, moving to a different country is never easy, this is why the United States Embassy in Costa Rica decided to offer expats some tips on life in Costa Rica and what their role is in helping American citizens in the country.

According to data by the US embassy, it is estimated that the number of US citizens living in Costa Rica is between 80 to 100 thousand, and close to 1 million US tourists visit Costa Rica annually.
