Costa Rica Beer Fest

Aside from the numerous activities of the International Festival of the Arts, there are other activities taking place this weekend that you might enjoy:

Beer Fest:

Lots of beer lovers in Costa Rica, if you are one of them and you are always looking to try new flavors and learn more about this drink, visit the Beer Fest this Saturday, July 1st at Cronos Plaza in Pinares, Curridabat starting at 3 p.m.

Ticobirra, La Cofradía Brewing Company, La Selva, El Gaff, El Granero, Arajo, Uno Cero Uno , Corcovado, La Finca, Arboleda, Manada Coyote and Chilillazo are some of the craft beer companies that will be participating of this event.

“We are betting on national craft beer, because we believe there is great quality in the country and we want to support small businesses in their growth”, said Tatiana Arguedas, Manager of Cronos Plaza.

The Beer Fest will include live music, food stands, promotions and raffles by the participating companies.

Photo Expo

Photography Expo:

On the other side of the city, in Combai urban market in Escazú, the Fotocreativa will be hosted starting June 29 and through July 16.

This event gathers the work of photography students and audiovisual production students of Creativa University and Colegio Universitario.

In this edition the topics are: “La Femme” (The Woman); which praises the feminine figure and taking in consideration the role of women in society, her beauty, and event those negative aspects such as the gender disadvantages.

The activity also includes conferences, a seminar by renown Spanish photographer Cristina Otero “Artistic Photography” (Otero is the youngest artist in Spain who has ever exhibited individually in an art gallery, when she was 15), and a workshop, those interested in these activities can get more information and make reservations by calling 2528-5095 or by email to [email protected]
