Karina Ramos, and the twins Esteban and Douglas Castillo were invited to take part of the L.A. Fashion Week to take place March 12 to the 16th.

Ramos just took part on one of the side events of the New York Fashion Week in February. Esteban, who is Karina’s boyfriend participated in the casting for the LA show and was selected, the organization then informed him they also wanted his twin brother to be part of the event.

“There had been talks about the possibility of participating, since the organization of the Fashion Week of New York is the same as the LA one. We recently were contacted by them and the three of us will be participating in Los Angeles. This means a lot,” stated Ramos.

“We are very excited, this is not just a lucky shot this opens an important window. We hope to do great. We want to do castings in different agencies to take advantage of the trip”, explained Esteban Castillo in an interview with La Nacion.

Even though the Costa Rican models don’t have the details yet on which collections they will be modeling they explained they are part of the official models of the organization, so they will let them know which designer (s) they’ll be modeling for.

The Castillo twins had not dedicated as much time lately to modeling to focus on their careers as engineers, and as these opportunities knock to their doors they consider that being identical twins has a lot to do with it “Every time we walk out together everyone comments on the fact that we look the same and walk the same, saying that we are identical. As models, separate, we do well, but definitely when we do it together our work gets more attention”, commented Esteban.
