This Tuesday evening the Drug Control Police (PCD) of the Ministry of Public Security, arrested a U.S. man entering Costa Rica through the Juan Santamaria Airport, originating from San Francisco, California with a load of marijuana extract in his luggage.
The man of last name Trague is 24 years-old and was traveling from San Francisco through Houston with Costa Rica as his last stop, his return ticket followed the same route, San Jose-Houston-San Francisco.
The total amount of drug seized was of 991 grams of marijuana extract. The man carried the drugs which contain concentrated levels of THC in the form of a resin or wax (a very popular, and potent, form of cannabis that goes by many names and most acceptably referred to as “concentrate”) in pipettes and test tubes; the extracted resin from the cannabis plant can be consumed in many different ways.
This type of drug is legal in some States of the United States under certain circumstances.
