Visit the Gastronomy Festival This Weekend at Parque Viva Costa Rica

This Saturday and Sunday Parque Viva will host the Chakók gastronomy festival with dishes from different corners of the world.

In total 30 restaurants representing 9 regions will have a presence, as well as 10 food trucks, wine distributors and 20 different craft beers.

Mexican, Italian, Peruvian, Argentinian, Chinease, Indian, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean dishes as well as BBQ, gourmet options and fast food are just art of the alternatives you will find at very reasonable prices.

The gastronomy festival also includes cultural events and “El mercadito”, commercial stands where the visitors can purchase fresh artisan products and a kids zone were children will be able to take cooking lessons at particular hours. A VIP section will have chef Sebastian La Rocca who will be offering an authentic Argentine BBQ with different meat cuts, salads, desserts and an open bar for ¢23.500 per person.

Chakók Festival will begin Saturday, July 22 at 10 a.m. and through 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. the entrance has a cost of ¢2.500, children under 12 don’t pay.
