London, Jul 22 (EFE).– The makers of “Spectre,” the 24th installment in the James Bond saga, on Wednesday unveiled the first full-length trailer for the film, which features the usual mix of spectacular explosions, high-speed chases and gorgeous women.

The two-minute, 32-second clip shows the world’s most famous secret agent (Daniel Craig) returning to the job after “some overdue holiday,” while Naomie Harris reprises her role as Miss Moneypenny and Christoph Waltz plays the villain Franz Oberhauser.

In the trailer, Oberhauser, a shadowy figure within a sinister organization known as SPECTRE, can be heard telling the secret agent that he is “the author of all (of Bond’s) pain.”

As expected, several beautiful women grace the short clip, including veteran actress Monica Bellucci, the franchise’s oldest Bond girl, and Lea Seydoux, who plays Madeleine Swann, daughter of one of 007’s old nemeses, Mr. White (Jesper Christensen).

Spectre” will be released in Britain and Ireland on Oct. 26 – the same night as its world premiere in London – and in the rest of the world on Nov. 6. Shooting of the film began last December in the English capital.

The film’s producers took the name “Spectre” from the international crime syndicate described in novelist and Bond creator Ian Fleming’s 1961 novel “Thunderball.”

Spectre” will be the fourth film featuring Craig as protagonist and the second to be directed by English filmmaker Sam Mendes after “Skyfall,” which grossed $1.1 billion worldwide. EFE
