Many have watched the 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, and many perhaps have read the book by Jordan Belfort.

Jordan Belfort is an executive who used his career as a stockbroker and his experience in Wall Street as inspiration for the books The Wolf of Wall Street and Catching the Wolf of Wall Street, today besides being an author, he is a motivational speaker, and he will be part of the event The Mentors that will take place in Costa Rica in March 2017.

The Mentors is an event catered to sales executives, entrepreneurs, business men and women, marketing professionals and general public that can find the workshop useful. It will have the participation of several experts in different fields and Jordan Belfort will be closing the presentations with his famous workshop oriented towards increasing sales, the art of persuasion and creating wealth.

Belfort has done presentations within the United States and also Switzerland, Germany, China and Japan.

Details on the event, like cost and location have not yet been released.

About Jordan Belfort:

Jordan Belfort started working in Wall Street in the 1990’s and eventually managed to earned over $50 million a year, he was the founder of Stratton Oakmont a company that functioned as a boiler room part of a penny stock scam. Belfort enjoyed an eccentric lifestyle until the company was permanently shut down in 1996 and he was indicted for securities fraud and money laundering, he served a total of 22 months in prison of a 4-year sentence after reaching an agreement to collaborate with the authorities giving testimony against numerous people involved in his fraud scheme. He was also obligated to pay 50% of his income towards restitution to 1,513 clients affected by the scheme.

He has been a consultant for several public companies, and created a system called Straight Line System which is meant to empower any company or individual to create wealth and have entrepreneurial success without sacrificing integrity or ethics.
