Airfarewatchdog.com announced today a one-day 99 percent discount on Spirit Airway round trip flights from several U.S. cities including Atlanta, Boston, and Minneapolis for Tuesday and Wednesday travel between Aug. 23 – Oct. 5, 2016 (Sept. 6 is a blackout date).

Book this fare on Spirit.com using promo code 99PCT. Some fares are as low as $142+ round -trip.

The site goes on to state the following about the flash sale that ends tonight at midnight,

“This is the lowest fare found within the promo code travel period and may not be available throughout the entire travel period or on a daily basis. Some routes are seasonal and may not operate through the entire travel period.

“The promo code takes 99 percent off the base fare only and does not apply to govt. taxes/fees nor Spirit’s online booking fees (passenger usage fee & DOT unintended consequences fee). This promo code expires at 11:59 p.m. ET TODAY, Aug. 16, 2016.

“This fare only includes one small “personal item” carry-on that does not exceed 16x14x12 inches and will fit underneath your seat. Larger carry-on or checked baggage require an additional charge.

“To get this fare, you must also accept a Spirit assigned seat at check-in and print your boarding pass at home or at an airport kiosk. Choosing a specific seat or using a human airport agent requires additional charges.

“To the best of our knowledge, there is a reasonable amount of seat availability at the stated price. Flexible travel dates may be required to find this rate; seats may not be available on all flights or all dates of travel. Holiday periods may be excluded.
