The Central American Surfing Games concluded its second day of competition and will come to an end this Sunday, November 13. Costa Rica’s National Surfing Team has had a great performance so far and is very close to archiving their eleventh consecutive title with 17 out of 20 members still in competition. Panama has 9 competitors still in participation, Nicaragua 5, Guatemala 3 and El Salvador 2.
Sunday the competition will resume as of 8 a.m. in the seven categories and is schedule to conclude around noon time.
Some categories still have rounds to dispute before the finals while others, particularly in the female categories are going straight for the finals tomorrow.
This event is taking place in Jaco Beach, Puntarenas, Costa Rica in front of the Best Western Hotel.
In other surfing news, Costa Rica’s Surf Federation announced in their facebook page that Costa Rican Leilani McGonagle was crowned today as the winner of the Barbados Junior Pro.
