Tickets to the next concert of the Costa Rica Philharmonic Orchestra “Music in the Movies“, went on sale this Wednesday, September 13.

Usually concerts by the Philharmonic Orchestra sell out fast, so if you want to attend make sure to purchase your tickets ahead of time.

“Music in the Movies” is offered in two dates, October 21 and 22 and includes the soundtracks for some of the most popular movies interpreted by the Orchestra and with a synchronized experience between audio and video in a big screen.

As announced by the Philharmonic Orchestra the repertoire will include soundtracks for:

Rouge
Beauty and the Beast
The Imperial March
Cinema Paradiso
The Mission
Schindler’s List
Game Of Thrones
The Patriot
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
Harry Potter
Tribute to John Williams
Indiana Jones

The concert will take place at the Melico Salazar Theater in San José and prices range from ȼ10,000.00 to ȼ20,000.00 (US$18.00-$35.00).

The Costa Rica Philharmonic Orchestra was created in 2003, currently it has 11 albums, one of them won the Grammy Latino Award, the Orchestra has played with artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Pablo Milanés, among others. Its director is Marvin Araya.

Remember the Philharmonic Orchestra will be offering the concert “Songs of Freedom” a Tribute to Bob Marley this next September 23 at Parque Viva and alongside Mitchell Brunings; while in November 18 and 19 the last concert of the year will be “Tribute to Elvis and Rock & Roll”.
