The Costa Rica Philharmonic Orchestra continues to sell out its concerts and win over its audience, its concert “Songs of Freedom” , a tribute to Bob Marley was a great success and therefore they will be presenting it one last time at the Coca Cola Amphitheater in Parque Viva, Saturday, September 23.

The two hour show was presented for the first time in March 7, 2016 at the Melico Salazar Theater; due to the high demand it had they had to add two additional dates that year. This motivated the production company to plan one additional concert in a bigger stage.

“This will be a very special concert, since it will be the last time we present this concert. We want it to be an unforgettable night, it was a concert that the audience loved when it was presented at the Melico Salazar Theater, now bringing it to the Coca Cola Amphitheater is a huge challenge for us, but we take it on with satisfaction and pride. It will be a concert full of good energy.”, said director Marvin Araya.

This presentation will be slightly different from the previous ones; some of the changes include the number of images that will be projected on the screens since the amphitheater allows more innovation in this sense.

One of the participating singers is Mitchell Brunings, who participated in television singing competition The Voice – Holland and impressed the judges with his amazing interpretation of “Redemption Song” during his bling audition and went on to win second place in the competition. Brunings was part of the “Songs of Freedom” concert back in March 2016.

The show includes songs such as: Redemption Song, Could you be Loved, Buffalo Soldier, No Woman, No Cry, Iron Lion Zion, Africa Unite, Stand up, among many others.

Tickets for this show can be purchased online through the Boleteria.cr website, prices go from ¢15,000 approximately $26.00(sector 500) to ¢29,500, around $50.00 (sector 102 and 103).
