All eyes are on Singapore for the Tuesday summit with President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. But all ears are on Thursday’s planned release of the U.S. Inspector General’s 400-page report detailing his conclusions and recommendations into his office’s findings involving the actions of high-ranking DOJ and FBI officials with the Clinton email scandal and the 2016 presidential campaign and other subjects.

Whatever progress, if any, is attained during the USA-NOKO summit it will be for the good of the long-suppressed North Korean people by bringing the long-time rogue nation into the mainstream and systematically remove their nuclear threat from that part of the world. President Trump along with the leaders of Japan and South Korea have pledged billions of dollars to rebuild North Korea’s economy if NOKO agrees to full denuclearization and end it’s ballistic missile experiments.

Chances are the NOKO dictator will agree to a lot, but deliver little in terms of verified reductions and elimination of their nuclear stockpile of their estimated 30-60 nuclear bombs. President Trump has already said the meetings with North Korea may go on for a long time, but some progress is better than no progress like the past seven decades. Hats off to the president.

Meanwhile, last week saw two major developments in the Washington swamp; first was former disgraced Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe sought some wiggle room in his impending indictment for lying by asking for immunity from prosecution involving his testimony in ongoing investigations of former FBI Director James Comey and others involved in the Hillary Clinton email scandal. McCabe’s plea for immunity hopefully will fall on deaf ears. The second was the arrest of a ‘deep-state’ leaker of classified information. Here are the first three paragraphs of the statement on this arrest from the U.S. Department of Justice released last Thursday.

“WASHINGTON – A former staff employee of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) has been indicted and arrested on charges of making false statements to special agents of the FBI during the course of an investigation into the unlawful disclosure of classified information, announced Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jessie K. Liu, and Timothy M. Dunham, Special Agent in Charge of the Counterintelligence Division of the FBI’s Washington Field Office.

“James A. Wolfe, 57, of Ellicott City, Md., was indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts of violating Title 18, United States Code, Section 1001. At the time he made the alleged false statements to the FBI, Wolfe was Director of Security for the SSCI, a position he held for approximately 29 years. As SSCI Director of Security, Wolfe was entrusted with access to classified SECRET and TOP SECRET information provided by the Executive Branch, including the U.S. Intelligence Community, to the SSCI. In this position, Wolfe was responsible for safeguarding all classified information in the possession of the SSCI.

“Wolfe is alleged to have lied to FBI agents in December 2017 about his repeated contacts with three reporters, including through his use of encrypted messaging applications. Wolfe is further alleged to have made false statements to the FBI about providing two reporters with non-public information related to the matters occurring before the SSCI.”

Now folks this is just the latest ‘deep-state’ leaker arrest, there will be plenty more.

The Inspector General’s report due out Thursday is sure to contain some eye-popping accusations that may result in federal grand-jury indictments down the road for high-level government officials with the DOJ and FBI.

All of this is negative blow back for the Democrats who by many accounts are scrambling to keep their heads above water during the mid-term national election later this year and not lose ground in the U.S. House and Senate. They have no chance of taking back either house of the U.S. Congress this year. Things in the USA are improving so much so that voters will stay the course and vote their pocketbooks.

The Democrats have all of their hopes wrapped up in this Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump/Russia collusion probe that has been going on for more than a year costing taxpayers more than $17-miilion. Mueller’s office says his final report will be released September 1, according to news reports. So far what leaks have emerged from Mueller’s and Trump’s legal teams indicate President Trump is not the subject of Mueller’s highly-tainted investigation. Mueller has no ‘ace-in-the-hole’ to bring down the Trump presidency.

Mueller’s release of his report only 9 weeks before the Nov. 6 mid-term election will no doubt be seen just as political as Comey’s statement of “no charges” for Clinton made only days before the 2016 presidential election that Clinton lost.

You have to wonder what planet these liberal Democrats are on with all their irrational, vitriolic ramblings of their hatred of President Trump — who is out there every day doing what he said he would do and was elected to do — at home and abroad.
