Costa Rican singer and songwriter Debi Nova will be offering a concert in Costa Rica October 14 in the National Auditorium of the Children’s Museum.

Debi Nova, born Deborah Nowalski Kader, was born in Costa Rica in 1980 and is of Polish-Jewish descent; she moved to Los Angeles at age 17 and has worked with artists such as Ricky Martin, Britney Spears and Venezuelan Franco De Vita who actually will be giving a concert in Costa Rica in November where he will sing several duets with Nova.

The Costa Rican artist has had a successful career in the United States and is greatly regarded in Costa Rica, Colombia and other Latin American countries, in 2004 her song “One Rhythm” was the #1 track on Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play; she also participated in 2010 Dancing With The Stars US television show.

In 2010 she released her first studio album Luna Nueva, produced by Gustavo Santaolalla and which includes 10 English-language songs, the first single Drummer Boy was well received by the public.

Her second album “Soy” was released in 2014 and produced by Grammy Winning producer Cachorro López; the album was nominated for the 2014 Latin Grammy Awards in the category best New Vocal Pop Album.

Nova has participated in several events and presentations in Costa Rica, she was also the official voice of the Central American Games, San José 2013. She returns to her native concert to present her latest album “Gran Ciudad” which was recorded in Los Angeles and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil); this album has 11 songs.

Tickets to the Debi Nova concert are for sale on the online platform Eticket.cr with prices ranging from US$30.00 to approximately US$70.00.

The singer is also expected to give a presentation during the Tamarindo Art Wave Festival 2017 beginning of December.
