The movie “Man of Faith” based on the life of Costa Rican goal keeper Keylor Navas is already in the post-production stage after the last scenes were filmed in Spain, informed the production company PCP.

“After 59 days shooting in Costa Rica and 5 days in Spain, the movie has initiated the postproduction stage which should carry out for approximately three months to be able to release the move in Costa Rica in December 2017”, informed the press release.

Executive producer, Jorge Obando, said the filming in Spain that included the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium was successful and had the support of the Real Madrid.

The editing process is leaded by Mexican Luis Carballar.

“At this point we go back to zero, and we figure out what is the best way of telling the story in a more concise and effective way. To achieve this, the experience of a professional like Carballar is very valuable”, explained the director and script writer Dinga Haines.

Spanish Zacarías de Riva is in charge of the soundtrack for the movie while Costa Rican singer Debi Nova prepared a song for the film.

The movie tells the story of Navas since his childhood years in Perez Zeledón his development as a soccer player that took him to soccer team Saprissa, his role with the “La Sele” (Costa Rica National Soccer Team) and finally his career in Spain beginning in Albacete, moving to Levante and currently Real Madrid
