The fourth date of the Costa Rica Touring Car Championship CTCC takes place this Sunday, July 23 at Parque Viva.

In the third date, the Shell Endurance Cup that took place May 14, it was the Toyota Team that took the first place with the impeccable driving of José Andrés Montalto, while Andrés Saravia from Chevrolet and Felipe Vargas from Ford took the second and third places respectively for that specific competition.

Bernal Valverde and Montalto also managed the best times in the practices this week. Montalto has positioned himself as the man to bean in the competition, Valverde had technical problems in the third date and was forced to abandon the competition, which puts him in a complicated spot. Danny Formal from Hyundai is in the second place of the general ranking which makes this a very important race for him.

This date will celebrate the Claro Cup, a race that will have three heats of twenty minutes each. and Fox Sports commentator Ricardo Galindo will be the official narrator stepping in for Alfredo Nin.

The Yaris Cup will also host its fourth date on Sunday, in this competition Oswaldo Rodríguez is the current leader.

Tickets for the Claro Cup are available online through the page boleteria.cr and have a cost of between ¢6,000 to ¢11,000 (approximately $10.50 to $20.00) and it includes a courtesy drink.
