He has many haters but far more “Beliebers”, and this last group will be going crazy April 24th of 2017 when their idol, singer Justin Bieber gives his first concert in Costa Rica at the National Stadium.

The information was given today by national newspaper La Nacion, after Costa Rica’s Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce (MEIC) confirmed the authorization of the plan for the event “Concert: Justin Bieber Costa Rica”. Anyone who wants to organize a public event in Costa Rica must have first the authorization of the MEIC when they plan to do a ticket presale; this with the purpose of protecting the interest of the consumers.

The presentation of the Canadian singer in Costa Rica would be part of his “Purpose World Tour”, which was announced in 2015 after the release of his album Purpose. The tour initially included 58 dates within the United States and Canada, but in view of its success it ended up having 64 presentations in total. Bieber is currently doing shows in the United Kingdom, will then head over to Ireland and other European countries before continuing in 2017 to Australia, New Zealand and finally Latin America; he is expected to give a concert in Panama a few days prior to his Costa Rica event.

Justin Bieber is currently nominated by the American Music Awards for Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, Favorite Male Artist – Pop/Rock, Favorite Album – Pop/Rock and Favorite Song – Pop/Rock

There are still many questions up in the air since no promoting company has made the official announcement of the event. We will keep you posted!
