Monteverde Lodge & Gardens: “Rustic Elegance in the Cloud Forest”, this hotel is a little on the luxury side, a beautiful, comfortable and elegant hotel with beautiful views and only 28 rooms. El Establo: Located just 4 kilometers from the cloud forest, El Establo is one of the most popular hotels in the area since it’s been around since 1991 and offers a great balance between price and quality. El Establo has amazing views of Monteverde and the Nicoya Gulf. It offers 155 rooms, heated indoor pool, spa, restaurants, WiFi, tennis court, among other amenities. Prices start at around $130.00 per night. This hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway.
Belmar Hotel: This hotel was founded in 1985 and since then has gained popularity as one of the best hotels in Monteverde. Belmar pays special attention to all details, from its flawless and charming rooms to its beautiful wellness center, delicious organic food in their own Celajes Restaurant and even their own microbrewery. This hotel also has a strong commitment to the protection of the environment; they have been awarded the ecological blue flag and expect to soon be certified as carbon neutral.
Los Pinos: This place was established in 1987, it offers fully equipped cabins surrounded by nature and incredible gardens. Simple, yet comfortable, this is an very affordable lodging option that will provide great service. There are several cabin sizes that can accommodate 2 to 6 people depending on your needs and rates go from $95.00 to $200.00.
Guarumo Cloud Forest Home: This is not a hotel but a rental home, but it is a perfect option for groups traveling together since it accommodates up to 21 people. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms, beautiful living spaces, daily housekeeping, and its walking distance to the cloud forest, which means all you’ll hear at night is the sounds of nature. 4 bedrooms, 16 beds, 7.5 bathrooms, if you are traveling with your entire family or a group of friends this is just right for you.
