One Day Tour in Costa Rica: TuruBaRi Nature and Adventure Park

If you are looking for options to spend a fun day in Costa Rica enjoying the outdoors TuruBaRi adventure park in Turrubares, Alajuela offers different activities for both kids and adults oriented towards adventure and ecotourism.

TuruBaRi used to be land dedicated to farming and agricultural activities, the same was reforested in 1996, and over 80,000 trees have been planted. 236 hectares out of which 100 have been developed for the enjoyment of visitors, separated into two areas with different attractions but connected by an aerial tramway.

The adventure park offers horseback riding tours through the property, canopy with 11 platforms, two bridges and a tower using the best quality certified security equipment and the sensational cable which will allow you to experience flying like superman reaching a speed of up to 90 km/h at a height of 110 meters.

The nature tour in the area of the park known as the Tropical Garden can be accessed through the aerial tramway in a short 10 minute trip. Exploring the nature here can take anywhere from 2 to 3 hours and the park will provide a guide that will take you through the property and explain all there is to know about the different flora found in the area as well as the fauna commonly found here.

The TuruBaRi adventure park offers different packages where visitors can combine the nature tour with a preferred adventure (s). Restaurant service is available and the operation hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last entrance is at 3:00 p.m.)
