Luxury resorts and boutique hotels in Costa Rica have made a point in the recent years of building incredible pools, there are many in the country, but only one was recognized and included in the CNN list of “17 jaw-dropping pools around the world”.
The pool at the adults-only resort Casa Chameleon at Playa Danta, Guanacaste was included as the 8th most impressive pool:
“The adults-only resort Casa Chameleon is a hilltop boutique property in Costa Rica with a zero-edge infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean and tropical dry forest below. After hiking and biking local trails, kayaking or beach lounging, there are few better ways to cool down, while sunsets are particularly spectacular”, reads the CNN Article.
The list includes pools in Chile, Italy, China, Tanzania, Maldives, Saint Lucia, Portugal, Seychelles, Panama, Hong Kong, Japan, Switzerland and California.
Last year, the ABC show “Good Morning America” asked their viewers to vote for the most amazing pools in the world, the voters mentioned two in Costa Rica, the pool at the Mangroove Hotel in the Gulf of Papagayo, Guanacaste and the pool at Los Sueños, Marriot Hotel in Jacó.
Other spectacular pools in Costa Rica with incredible views include Kurá Design Villas, an adult only hotel in Uvita; Punta Islita Hotel in Samara, Guanacaste and the Gaia Hotel and Reserve in Manuel Antonio, Puntarenas.
